Newton Mid-Kansas Orchestra Association Inc.

A non-profit organization which promotes and supports the performance of orchestral music for south central Kansas audiences.

Newton Mid-Kansas Symphony Orchestra (NMKSO)

A high quality community orchestra whose purpose is to perform, advocate and support the performance of a variety of symphonic music.

Musicians

Musicians from the Newton/Harvey county and surrounding area include professionals, music educators, community players, and advanced high school and college students.  Concertmaster Adrienne Dougherty also plays with the Wichita Symphony Orchestra.

           Auditions: Annual auditions to fill prinicipal string, section string, and wind openings take place prior to the Fall Classics Concert. Contact manager Jill Gatz 316-772-3265 for more info.
